The band Lifehouse first broke out its hit “Hanging by a Moment.”

Hot Chelle Rae is opening act

The California Mid-State Fair announced on Monday that Lifehouse has been confirmed to perform at the fair on Friday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is part of the annual Bud Light Concert Series and will take place in the Chumash Grandstand Arena at the Paso Robles Event Center. Hot Chelle Rae has been confirmed to open the show.

Ticket prices for the show range from $21 to $56 and will go on sale Thursday, May 22, 2014. Tickets will be available starting at 10:00a online at www.midstatefair.com or by calling 1-800-909-FAIR, and at 1:00p at the California Mid-State Fair box office, 2198 Riverside Avenue in Paso Robles, or any ValliTix location.

Lifehouse came to mainstream prominence in 2001 with the hit single “Hanging by a Moment” from their debut studio album, No Name Face. “Hanging By a Moment” was Billboard magazine’s 2000 Hot 100 chart Song of the Year. In 2002, Lifehouse released their follow-up album Stanley Climbfall. Since then, they have released four more
albums: the eponymous Lifehouse in 2005, Who We Are in 2007, Smoke and Mirrors in 2010, and Almería in 2012. These albums have spawned the singles “You and Me”,
“First Time”, and “Whatever It Takes”, which have all been top 40 hits in the U.S. This will be Lifehouse’s first appearance at the California Mid-State Fair.

Hot Chelle Rae is a Nashville-based quartet best known for their smash 2011 hit “Tonight Tonight”. The #1 song has been certified triple platinum in Australia, double platinum in the U.S., and platinum in Canada. The hilarious video for the song has also racked up over 30 million views online. They followed-up on that success with the platinum-selling “I Like It Like That” featuring New Boyz. Their new album Recklessly will be released later this year.
