Local accounting firm names new principals
Glenn Burdette promotes two longtime employees
Glenn Burdette, a certified public accounting firm with an office in Paso Robles, recently announced promotions for two current senior tax managers, Jason L. Augustine, and Mical W. Bovee. Both are now principals with the firm, effective June 1.

Augustine is a Cal Poly graduate who started his career in Silicon Valley. “My wife and I were thrilled when I was offered the job at Glenn Burdette in 2006 because we really wanted to settle on the Central Coast,” he said. He specializes in individual and corporate retirement planning as well as income tax and financial planning.
Bovee began his career at Glenn Burdette immediately following his graduation at Cal Poly in 2005. He’s since enjoyed working his way up.
“I love the challenge of helping clients navigate an ever-changing tax landscape and guiding them toward the best solutions,” he said.
Augustine specializes in trusts and nonprofits.

Glenn Burdette was the first CPA firm in California to become employee owned. The business is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2015.
Glenn Burdette is a certified public accounting firm with offices in Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles. The firm employs 34 certified professionals and 61 total employees. As members of the American Institute of CPAs, Glenn Burdette undergoes a formal examination process, or peer review, to ensure quality and compliance. The firm has passed every peer review since its formation in 1965.
