Man arrested for burglary on Vendels Circle

46-year-old arrested for burglary, stolen property, burglary tools and a wooden club

Early Thursday morning at about 3:50 a.m. the Paso Robles Police Department received a report of a commercial burglar alarm activation at a business in the 1100 block of Vendels Circle.

Police officers responded and determined that a suspect had forced entry on to the property by cutting open a locked gate. Officers conducted a search of the area which led them to 46-year-old Paso Robles resident Kevin Smith.

As a result of this investigation, Smith was determined to be the suspect responsible for this burglary and he was arrested without incident.

Smith was booked into the SLO County Jail for burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, and possession of an illegal weapon, a wooden club.

The investigation into this burglary is ongoing. Persons with information about this crime are encouraged to contact the Paso Robles Police Department with information.
