The California Mid-State Fair announced recently that the musical group Boston will be returning to perform in concert Friday, July 31, at 7 p.m.. The group will be the featured artist of the Fair’s annual “Evening of Music & Wine” concert, which will take place in the Main Grandstand Arena at the Paso Robles Event Center. Ticket prices and on-sale date for the show are still to be determined.

For over four decades, Boston has been a staple of classic rock music, selling over 30 million albums worldwide. Centered on guitarist, keyboardist, songwriter and producer Tom Scholz, the band is best known for the songs “More Than A Feeling”, “Rock And Roll Band”, “Don’t Look Back” and “Amanda”.

More than 10 years in the making, Boston’s new studio album “Life, Love and Hope” was released in December of 2014 and is now available everywhere. Tom Scholz says, “These songs are from the heart, each of them taking many months of effort to write, arrange, perform and record, always up to the demands of BOSTON’s harshest critic, me.”

The 2015 California Mid-State Fair runs July 22 through August 2.
