–Kim Austin, founder of Connections Discovered, in conjunction with Rick Goree’s State Farm Agency, will be hosting a business networking event on Wednesday, May 11 at the Paso Robles Realtor’s Association, located at 1101 Riverside Ave., Suite 1 in Paso Robles. The theme of the event is, “Networking with Intention.”

Have you ever attended a networking event and felt like a fish out of water, just floundering around and hoping something good happens? Or, do you network with intention? Do you know what you want and go after it? Do you leave the event with confidence that the connections you made will give you referrals?

Having spent years training with BNI, the largest networking organization of its type in the world, Austin attended international workshops where she learned the newest and most effective networking techniques and has trained others on these techniques for 8 years.

“Networking with Intention” is 3 workshops in one:

1) Instruction
Learn to feel empowered at networking events and make the connections you want.

2) Self- Evaluation
Evaluate where you are in networking and set simple goals for where you want to be

3) Referrals
Learn how to teach others to give you referrals on a continual basis.

You will learn a simple conversation that will amaze you at the connections you can make with someone you would never have thought would be a good referral connection for you. Whether you are an advanced networker or a beginner, this workshop is for you.

If you are involved in a local networking group, ask to see if you qualify for the $25 networkers rate.
