New homes under construction on westside
The first phase of five homes is currently under construction at a new gated community on Paso Robles’ westside. It’s called Paso Terrace. It’s the only new home community under construction on the westside of Paso Robles and is one of only three gated large-home neighborhoods in the city.
It’s located at the northwest corner of city limits off of Caballo Place between Vine Street and Mustang Springs Road. Paso Terrace provides a rural ambiance, yet benefits from full underground city services. The neighborhood consists of 21 parcels in total, of which 15 are being built for sale.
Paso Terrace homesites range in size from a half acre to over an acre. The homes range from approximately 2,680 square feet up to approximately 3,393 square feet, with three to five bedrooms, a great room, a study or den. Each plan provides the owner with ‘single level living’ arrangements, leaving only guest bedrooms and bath, den/family room and optional wine cellars on the lower level. All homes will include three car garages, volume ceilings, tankless water heater, dual zone central heating and air, Low-E windows and doors, and other green features such as a conduit for future electrically operated vehicle charger.
Paso Terrace kitchens are appointed with granite slab countertops, stainless steel dual compartment sink, under cabinet fluorescent task lighting, GE Profile stainless steel Energy Star appliance package including a built-in self cleaning double wall oven with convection, 36” 5-burner gas cooktop with hood, microwave oven and multi-cycle dishwasher. All master suites are main level, and include a coffered ceiling, a master bath with separate shower and luxurious soaking tub, granite slab countertops, dual under-mount sinks with widespread plumbing fixtures, plus a spacious walk-in closet.
Paso Terrace homes are expected to be priced from the high $600,000s. Move-ins for the first phase are slated for September. The sales office and furnished model is scheduled to open in August.
