New restaurant opens at Paso Robles Airport
First Class Cafe had soft opening this July
– First Class Cafe, a new restaurant at the Paso Robles Airport, had a soft opening in July. Its grand opening celebration is slated for Sept. 14. The restaurant is owned by John Carswell, who is also the owner of SLO’s Finest Catering.
The restaurant’s hours are 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Carswell says that they will be opening more during the winter season for the weekends and for longer hours. “All our ingredients and products are homemade and using local farmer’s produce and high quality products,” said Carswell.
The menu is available for viewing on their website, and includes things such as freshly baked pastries, breakfast favorites such as french toast, eggs and breakfast burritos, and salads and sandwiches. He said he also has plans to expand his current menu.
They have happy hour everyday from 3 p.m. to close, where they offer two-dollar bud light and coors light, three-dollar bottles of Lagunitas, and five-dollar bellinis, mimosas, & champagne. The restaurant is currently offering a 25-percent discount for locals, airport travelers, and military personnel.
