“The fine artworks are in the mediums of painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, digital art and photography,” said David Prochaska, Cuesta College fine arts instructor. “This exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain recognition for their work and get a taste of professional exhibition practices and procedures.”

The student works were juried by Sara Frantz, Cal Poly assistant professor of fine arts/drawing. This year, there were more than 120 art work submissions by over 70 students.

The Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery is located in room 7170, on the San Luis Obispo Campus of Cuesta College. It is open Monday-Friday, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is free. The gallery was dedicated in the fall of 2014 after the Cuesta College Foundation received a $250,000 grant from the Harold J. Miossi Charitable Trust. The donation is specifically used to enhance the role of the Cuesta College Art Gallery in the community. For more information, please call (805) 546-3100, ext. 2753.
