News site launches business directory and events calendar
The Paso Robles Daily News recently launched a new online Paso Robles business directory and Paso Robles events calendar. They are both free to local businesses and organizations looking to promote themselves in the community.
The Paso Robles Daily News website is the most comprehensive local source for information on Paso Robles breaking news, events, politics, crime, police, city hall, sports, travel, wine, regional, and business news. It’s an online site with content from staff reporters, correspondents, photographers, and editors.
The website received over 97,000 views in December and averages more than 3,000 per day. There are more than 20 new local stories published in the Paso Robles Daily News every week.
“We are incredibly pleased at the reception we have received from readers and advertisers,” said editor Scott Brennan, who started it a little over a year ago.
“Online media has proven to be the single best form of local advertising,” Brennan said. “It targets the high-value demographic of home owners, business owners, and younger consumers.”
“According to a recent survey, 90-percent of all media interactions are screen based,” he said. “We can deliver local news and advertising directly into the hands of local readers through their mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers.”
Business Directory
Adding a business listing to the Paso Robles business directory is easy. Users can visit the site, click “Business Directory” near the top of the home page, click “Add Listing,” and complete the requested details. Basic listings include name, address, phone, website but can also include a photo, Facebook link, Twitter link and Google+ link.
The new community calendar is a hub of Paso Robles events. Visitors are invited to share new events on the website. It’s free and easy. From the home page, users can hover over “Events” and then click “Submit An Event.”
Free subscriptions
Free subscriptions to the Paso Robles Daily News are available to anyone who wants to stay up-to-date with the latest breaking news in North County San Luis Obispo.
To subscribe to the Paso Robles Daily News, go to the home page and click on “subscribe” near the top of the page. Subscribers will receive a once-a-day summary of the headlines published over the last 24 hours.
