100-degree temperatures expected in North County
–Temperatures in Paso Robles are expected to reach over 100-degrees today, with a recorded high yesterday of over 102-degrees. Average early June temperatures are historically in the Mid-80s, according to Weather Underground.
Temperatures are expected to stay in the mid to upper 90s through the weekend, then lower to the upper 80s and low 90s next week.
Yesterday, outdoor physical education and after-school soccer was canceled at Paso Robles Joint Unified School District schools. The school policy is that when temperatures breach 95-degrees, outdoor activity is limited, and when temperatures breach 100, the activities are cancelled or moved inside, according to Public Informations Officer Martha Clayton. Afternoon Soccer and some PE classes will likely be canceled today and tomorrow as well.
