Local art association offers visual art scholarship
The Paso Robles Art Association announced it is offering visual art scholarships for 2014. The scholarships can be up to $2,000.
All North San Luis Obispo County seniors who plan to continue art studies beyond high school are invited to participate. One or more scholarships may be awarded based on artistic potential. Applicants must show a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be a graduating senior. In addition, applicants must reside in North San Luis Obispo County and intend to further their art education at post-high school level, either at an accredited community college, 4-year college, art institution or related art school. Scholarship winners will receive their award on proof of registration.

About the Paso Robles Art Association
The purpose of the Paso Robles Art Association is to provide the North San Luis Obispo County with quality artwork and to raise awareness and appreciation of art in the community. The mission has a component of youth education in local schools and community outreach programs, and provides scholarships to further art education. The PRAA promotes art displays, juried fine art exhibits, classes, lectures, workshops and offers member’s fine art for sale in the Association’s Showroom Gallery.
