Paso Robles Business Expo has global theme
Over 50 businesses attend chamber expo
–The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce held its annual business expo Wednesday at the River Oaks Hot Springs. The free event saw guests attend to meet over 50 local businesses.
This years theme was, “Around the World the Paso Way” and businesses dressed their booths and staff in costumes from countries around the world. The event provided an opportunity for businesses to showcase their goods and services. During the event businesses took part in a “Where in the world is Carmen San Diego” networking game to create a fun, interactive buzz within the expo.
Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce CEO Gina Fitzpatrick said she is always amazed by the number of friendly faces that greet them at the business expo each year. “This year was exceptionally pleasant due to the view and surroundings and exhibitors at River Oaks Hot Springs,” she said.
North County Young Professionals Councilmember Ryan Adams said you can’t find a more important place to engage your community than the business expo. “It’s important to reach out and meet our young professionals and recruit and network to expand our group,” he said. “It is also important to reach out to other businesses and it gives us the opportunity to get personal one on one time with the community.”
Medina Light Show Designs, Manuel Medina said it was a good opportunity to be in front of the public and to show his new products which customers may not have seen before. “We hopefully walk away with a job or two, future references and clientele.” he said.
Local Paso Robles business Knights Carpets and Interiors Michael Fletcher said it was great exposure for the business and a great way to meet other people in trade plus homeowners in the area.
