Classic cars cruise all over Paso Robles
Paso Robles Cruise and Car Show is rolling
Classic cars cruised the streets of Paso Robles last night as police shut down Spring Street for the annual event. Hundreds of onlookers lined the streets from 6 to 8 p.m. to watch the old-fashioned cruise night. It’s a Paso Robles tradition featuring pre-1979 classic cars. The weekend’s events are hosted by the Golden State Classics Car Club and the City of Paso Robles.
The annual Paso Robles Classic Car Show continues today, Saturday Aug. 31, 2013, in the downtown park. The show is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All cars must be finished, licensed and insured to take part in the show. Participants are invited to tour our city’s entertainment spots on Sunday. Organizers are expecting over 300 cars for this event. Net proceeds will go to local charities.
For many years Golden State Classics Car Club hosted a quality, “family-oriented” car show every Labor Day weekend in Paso Robles. For the past couple years the group has co-hosted the event with our Chamber of Commerce. The 2013 show is hosted by the Golden State Classics Car Club with the support of the City of Paso Robles.
