Paso Robles couple runs from LAX shooter

LAX shooting

Audrey and Mark Henry of Paso Robles interviewed by FOX News

A Paso Robles family were checking into security at Los Angeles International Airport Friday morning when shooting broke out. Fox News  Reporter Adam Housley interviewed Audrey and Mark Henry at 11:06 a.m. after they made a safe getaway. Audrey and Mark were at LAX with his father David and step-mom Lisa Henry, KSBY reported. Lisa said she did not see the gunman, but thinks they were less than a hundred yards from him, according to the report. She said it was pandemonium at the terminal: Everyone was running as fast as they could out the doors for their lives, including children, the elderly, pregnant women, and families with babies.

Suspected shooter 23-year-old Paul Anthony Ciancia.

A gunman armed with a high-powered rifle opened fire at LAX Friday morning, killing a TSA agent and wounding several others, authorities said. The gunman fired at several locations in Terminal 3 before police shot him, according to reports. LAX police did not reveal his condition.

Here is an excerpt of the Fox News interview with Mark Henry:

“We were just putting our belongings on the belt to be screened, and we just heard like eight shots just ring out, bang, bang, bang bang. We all hit the deck… All of a sudden everybody just started running through TSA down into the gates… as we were running there were probably another 15 to 20 shots that we heard behind us… We got out of the terminal building down on to the tarmac… We ran underneath planes… We stormed through the security gates… We just kept running away from the shots…”
