Paso Robles High School graduates 430 students 

Paso Robles High School GraduationPaso Robles High School graduated 430 students at War Memorial Stadium on Friday evening. It was the district’s 118th graduation. The Paso Robles High School band started the ceremony by playing Pomp and Circumstance.

graduationValedictorians were Brandon Racca and Ethan Serpa. The commencement’s speaker list included Paso Robles Mayor Duane Picanco, senior class president Caitlin Knoll, Associated Student Body President Devin Corea, and superintendent Kathleen McNamara. Masters of ceremonies were Jon-Paul and Gaylene Ewing.

The Paso Robles High School class of 2014 has over a 90 percent graduation rate with well over 75 percent of the graduates bound for college or advanced trade schools/military service. This year’s graduates garnered over $235,000 in scholarships with placements all across the globe.

Twenty two graduates have been accepted to CalPoly San Luis Obispo, in the disciplines of science, engineering, business, science, and the arts. Other graduates are traveling to disciplines and destinations including Mechanical Engineering at Stanford, NROTC at USC, Neuroscience at University of Rochester, and studies at Richmond American International University in London England.
