Paso Robles police go to Modesto area searching for murder suspects
Suspects sought in the murder of Victor Hugo Sanchez
Paso Robles police officers went to town outside of Modesto this week looking for suspects in the March 23, 2013 murder of Paso Robles resident Victor Hugo Sanchez.
Waterford Middle School, located in Waterford, CA, was locked down temporarily Thursday afternoon when the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Paso Robles Police Department in a search for homicide suspects, the Modesto Bee reports.
Police have been searching for three Modesto teenagers wanted for the shooting death of 37-year-old Sanchez, who authorities say was targeted by his jilted ex-girlfriend. Police are seeking Edgar Ontiveros, 18, Louis Henry Madrigal, 19, and Alejandro Anguiano, 19. Police say Sanchez’s ex-girlfriend, Maria del Carmen Granados Fajardo, hired the men, along with David Rodriguez Hernandez, 37, of Ceres, to kidnap and beat her ex boyfriend for $8,000. Authorities believe Hernandez fled to Mexico but continue to search in the United States for the Modesto teenagers.
Paso Robles Police Lt. Tim Murphy the the Modesto Bee that officers were in Waterford searching for one of the suspects at his father’s home, which prompted the lockdown of the middle school. When the suspect’s father saw police he tried to run because he thought he had a warrant, Murphy said, but he did not. None of the suspects were located.
Police see public’s help in finding three suspects
The Paso Robles Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance locating three individuals identified as suspects in the March 23, 2013 murder of Victor Hugo Sanchez. Paso Robles police and San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Investigators have identified the following suspects.
Edgar Ontiveros, A.K.A “Huero” DOB: 03/09/1995
Hispanic Male Adult
Height: 5’08” Weight: 140lbs.
Last Known Location: Modesto, CA
Alejandro Anguiano, A.K.A “Barbujas” DOB: 05/13/1994
Hispanic Male Adult
Height: 5’08” Weight: 150lbs.
Last Known Location: Modesto, CA
Louis Henry Madrigal, A.K.A. “Cuates” or “Flaco” DOB: 01/19/1994
Hispanic Male Adult
Height: 5’05” Weight: 140lbs.
Last Known Location: Modesto, CA
All three suspects have “No Bail” warrants issued for their arrest. These suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of these suspects should contact their local law enforcement agency immediately. This investigation is continuing and the Paso Robles Police Department will not be providing further details to the press about the case at this time.
