Paso Robles woman arrested for calling in bomb threats to Camp Roberts

–Joyce Ann Perkins, a 59-year-old woman from Paso Robles and former employee at Camp San Luis Obispo, was arrested Nov. 30 for making a 911 call on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 1 and saying that three bombs would go off at Camp Roberts that afternoon, according to reports.

The base was subsequently placed on lockdown and an investigation was launched, but no bombs were found and the lockdown was lifted later that day.

Perkins was booked into San Luis Obispo County jail with a $20,000 bail. She posted bail and is no longer in custody, reports say.
