– The Paso Pinot Producers announced that the 12th Annual Paso Pinot & Paella Festival proceeds will be awarded to the Paso Robles Youth Arts Foundation on Friday at 7 p.m. at the foundation’s Summer Review, held at 3201 Spring Street in Paso Robles. The festival took place on Sunday, June 7, in the Templeton Community Park.

The foundation will be awarded $40,000 from the 2015 event proceeds.

Joining 21 Paso Pinot Producers at the festival were some of the Central Coast’s most recognized chefs. Each year the attendees vote to decide which Paella they enjoyed most.

This year’s winning chefs were:
• Chef Jeff Wiesinger of Jeffry’s Catering
• Chef Christopher Manning of Thomas Hill Organics
• Chef Trish Jacobs of Paso Catering Company
• Chef Andre Averseng of Paso Terra

Since the first Paso Pinot & Paella event 12 years ago at Windward Vineyard more than $300,000 has been donated to the youth arts foundation and other local charities.

Tickets for next year’s event on Sunday, June 5, 2016 will go on sale August 1, 2015.
