Ray LaMontagne playing Paso Robles Oct. 10 

Ray LaMontagneGrammy Award winner Ray LaMontagne brings his Supernova Fall Tour to the Vina Robles Amphitheatre this Friday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. The Belle Brigade will support the show.

“LaMontagne’s voice remains a marvel, quiet and reflective one minute and forceful and impassioned the next. It really is an amazing instrument,” raved the Boston Herald after a tour stop at Boston’s Pavilion this past May.

LaMontagne is touring in support of his latest studio album Supernova which was produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) and recorded in Nashville, TN. The album was released via RCA Records on April 29, 2014 and was praised by critics across the board.

National Public Radio called the album “explosively creative” while Rolling Stone explained that the “Singer-songwriter’s vision bursts into vivid Sixties-pop color…”

He has released five studio albums – Supernova, Trouble, Till The Sun Turns Black, Gossip in the Grain and God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise. His 2010 album, God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise, won the Grammy for Best Folk Album and was nominated in the coveted Song of The Year category for “Beg Steal or Borrow.”
