Rotary Club hosting Old Timers Day Luncheon

‘Old timers’ invited to luncheon hosted by Rotary

Oct. 12 event kicks off Pioneer Days

old timers lunchThe Paso Robles Rotary Club is continuing its annual tradition of bringing local “old timers” together for lunch as part of celebrating Pioneer Days.

The Old Timers Luncheon is Thursday, Oct. 12, 2013 at noon at the Paso Robles Event Center at the Mid-State Fairgrounds. The Pioneer Museum Buildings will open at 9 a.m. The bar opens at 10 a.m. and a barbecue lunch is served at noon. This year marks the 82nd anniversary of Paso Robles Pioneer Day.

An “old timer” is anyone who has lived in the Paso Robles area for 50 years or more. Each year the Paso Robles Rotary Club cordially invites all “Old Timers” to be their guest for lunch and fellowship. The lunches for the “old timers” are free. Rotarians and guests who are accompanying “old timers” are $15 per person. “Old timers” are welcomed to come early to reminisce with old friends and acquaintances.

The Pioneer Day Parade and related events will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2013.
