Schools host meeting about new standards
Are you interested in learning more about the California Common Core State Standards? Paso Robles Joint Unified School District and the San Luis Obispo County PTA are hosting a Common Core Standards informational meeting designed to provide an understanding of how these new standards lead to college and career readiness.
Parents of K-12 students will have the opportunity to learn about the changes in classroom instruction and learning opportunities for our students.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at 6 p.m. at Paso Robles High School in Bearcat Hall, 801 Niblick Road, Paso Robles.
Presenters Include:
- Stephanie Hale, 24th District PTA, Vice President for Leadership
- Patty Scripter, California State PTA, Vice President for Education
- Barbara Harris, 24th District PTA, Secretary
- Babette De Cou, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, PRJUSD
Childcare and Spanish language interpretation will be provided.
