The association is a nonprofit and non-partisan organization that advocates for small businesses throughout the state of California. They champion policies that encourage small business expansion and provide local business owners with a voice at both the state and federal levels.

“Jordan has shown a deep commitment to the small business community,” said Betty Jo Toccoli, CSBA President. “He will support policies and reforms that help business owners keep their doors open and create more jobs.”

Cunningham is running for California State Assembly District 35, a district that encompasses San Luis Obispo County and a portion of Santa Barbara County. He is currently facing local Central Coast solar energy developer and businesswoman Dawn Ortiz-Legg for the seat that Katcho Achadjian will leave vacant.
