Councilman announces bid for second term

–Paso Robles City Councilman Steve Gregory has announced his bid to be re-elected to the Paso Robles City Council at a special campaign reception on Monday, July 11 at the Paso Robles Golf Club. Gregory invited friends, supporters, and constituents to the gathering, where he’ll announce his intent to run.

“I am committed to the citizens of Paso Robles,” said Gregory. “I’ve worked hard to restore city services, fix the roads and re-open the Centennial Pool. I love this city and want to continue making a difference with a progressive and communicative approach to getting things done.”

In 2014, Gregory was appointed to the council after a position opened when Mayor Steve Martin ran for mayor, opening a council seat. Prior to his time on council, he was a Paso Robles Planning Commissioner for five years. Gregory has dedicated himself to streamlining the process of working with city government, making permitting and building an easier process. He says he supports economic development in the city, transparency in government and living within the city’s financial means.

He has worked in the private sector as a small business owner where he developed and operated Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort in the Avila Beach area. He and his wife are active in the community and have lived in Paso Robles for 37 years.
