Storm system expected to travel through North County 

Rain expected over the weekend, into next week

–A storm system is expected to deliver rain starting Friday or Saturday until Monday or Tuesday. Forecasters say several inches of rain is possible from the system in parts of the county.

Weather underground is currently predicting a 53-percent chance of rain on Friday, an 85-percent chance of rain late Saturday night and Sunday morning, and a 60-70 percent chance of rain throughout Monday.

Last year the city recorded 9.51 inches or rain, where a typical season is more than 14 inches. The current total rainfall for season to-date is 10.26 inches.
