Students play baseball at Cooperstown 

PRJUSD boys baseball cooperstown
–Last week, Paso Robles Joint Unified School District students recently returned from playing baseball at Cooperstown, a town in New York considered the birthplace of baseball and the home to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

The Central Coast Waves baseball team is made up of students from both Lewis and Flamson Middle Schools.

Players from Lewis Middle School included: Adam Espinoza, Rodney Thompson, Anthony Garcia, Bryson Hoier, Jonah Dewhurst, and Elliott Hawe.

Players from Flamson Middle School were: Chase Stratman, Carter Shuck, and Carson Turnquist.

The boys were seeded #26 out of 104 teams. They finished the tournament with a 5-2 record. The Waves are coached by Ron Mullins, Garrett Hall, and Clay Villars. Some of the highlights include home runs by Bryson Hoier, Adam Espinoza, and Carson Turnquist. Bryson and Carson also hit grand slams.
