Suspect wanted for attempted armed robbery
Suspect: Hispanic male adult, 5’08” to 5’10”, 220 pounds, dark colored hair and eyes
On Sunday at about 12:54 a.m., the Paso Robles Police Department received a report of an attempted armed robbery which had just occurred at the Domino’s Pizza restaurant in the 2100 block of Spring Street.
Officers arrived and determined a lone male suspect had entered the business armed with a rifle. The suspect confronted the two employees and demanded money. The employees complied with the suspect’s demands but the suspect left before any money was turned over to him.
Officers conducted a search using the police canine but this search did not lead to the suspect. It is unknown if the suspect fled on foot or in a vehicle. This event was not captured on the business security surveillance video. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, 5’08” to 5’10”, 220 pounds, with dark colored hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
