Suspect wanted for attempted armed robbery 

Suspect: Hispanic male adult, 5’08” to 5’10”, 220 pounds, dark colored hair and eyes

On Sunday at about 12:54 a.m., the Paso Robles Police Department received a report of an attempted armed robbery which had just occurred at the Domino’s Pizza restaurant in the 2100 block of Spring Street.

dominos robbedOfficers arrived and determined a lone male suspect had entered the business armed with a rifle. The suspect confronted the two employees and demanded money. The employees complied with the suspect’s demands but the suspect left before any money was turned over to him.

Officers conducted a search using the police canine but this search did not lead to the suspect. It is unknown if the suspect fled on foot or in a vehicle. This event was not captured on the business security surveillance video. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, 5’08” to 5’10”, 220 pounds, with dark colored hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

There were no injuries during this event, and the investigation is ongoing. Persons with information about this crime are encouraged to contact the PRPD with information.
