––Candidate for county supervisor, John Peschong, has received the endorsement of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.

Founded over thirty years ago to assist with the passing of Prop 13, the association’s aim is to protect the proposition and advance taxpayer rights.

“John has been actively defending Prop 13 for many years,” stated HJTA President Jon Coupal. “On the board of supervisors he will continue to be a leader on behalf of all taxpayers.”

Peschong is running for First District Supervisor, which includes the City of Paso Robles as well as the communities of San Miguel, Templeton, Heritage Ranch, Oak Shores, and Adelaida. He lives in Templeton with his wife, Anna, and their two children.

Peschong joins several other candidates in a race to replace current Supervisor Frank Mecham, who announced earlier this year that he would be retiring.
