Teen stabbed in Paso Robles

–An 18-year-old male victim was stabbed on Wednesday morning on the walking path near Centennial Park in Paso Robles, according to the Paso Robles Police Department.

On Wednesday, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Paso Robles Police Department received a report of a stabbing victim being treated at Twin Cities Community Hospital. Patrol officers responded and determined that the 18-year-old male victim had suffered two stab wounds to his torso.

The victim reported that he had been attacked by at least one suspect while he was on the walking path in the area of Centennial Park (600 Nickerson Drive). After he was stabbed, he went to a friend’s house nearby and was transported to the hospital by friends. The victim has since been transferred to a hospital in Santa Barbara where he is undergoing treatment for wounds that are not considered life-threatening.

Officers were unable to locate the crime scene during the initial investigation. PRPD detectives have since identified that the incident occurred on the walking path closer to the area of Andrea Circle and Lana Street. The investigation indicates this was an isolated incident that was not gang related. The suspect/suspects have not yet been identified.
