– The Templeton Instrumental Music Boosters Association is kicking off its’ annual donation drive. Members of The Templeton Talon Marching Band and Color Guard will be distributing packages to local businesses and families to ask for their support of all instrumental music programs at Templeton High School.

The marching band and color guard competed in several competitions in the 2014-15 school year, earning many awards for their performances. Most notably first place in the field competition of the Colony Days Band Festival and second place in the most advanced division of the Selma Band Festival. The concert band also earned high awards at the Central Coast Music Festival.

Plans for the 2015-16 year include four marching band competitions and continuation of competing in local music festivals. Help is needed to insure that the music program remains viable as an ambassador of the town of Templeton and the Central Coast.

To donate, email templetonbandboosters@gmail.com.

The Templeton Instrumental Music Boosters Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
