Templeton Rotary Music Festival set for May 3
Fifth annual Rotary event features live local vocal & instrumental music, dance
The Rotary Club of Templeton will present their 5th annual Templeton Music Festival on Sunday, May 3 at 3 p.m. This signature event is a community event held at the Templeton Performing Arts Center, hosted by radio personality and entertainer, Chad Stevens, and featuring an array of San Luis Obispo County’s musical talent.
The audience will choose the winners in each of three categories:
• Academic – Music Motive’s Bucket Busters, Main Street Dance Company’s GodSquad, and THS Drama Club are a just a few of the performers that will head off in this category.
• Ensembles – Watch Gracelyn & Harlan, Marco & Jorge and Exalt face off in this category.
• Community Groups – Watch the Celebration Chorus (the 2014 event winner) versus Central Coast Choir (2013 event winner) versus Cuesta College “Vocé” (2012 event winner).
Proceeds from the event will support music programs in our community and provide much-needed funding for local school music programs.
Tickets are $10 pre-sale and available online at www.templetonmusicfestival.com or the Templeton Chamber of Commerce, located at 321 S. Main Street.
Tickets, (if still available) will be $12 at the door. The Templeton Performing Arts Center is located on the campus of Templeton High School on Main Street.
