Three men steal display iPads and phones from AT&T store 

Case remains open and under investigation

–On Jan. 11, a grand theft occurred at the AT&T store located near TJ Maxx on Golden Hill Rd. in Paso Robles, according to Paso Robles Police Liutenant Ty Lewis.

At approximately 8 p.m. the store clerk reported three black male adults entered the store at closing time and stole display iPads and phones from the displays along the walls. There was no threats, weapons, or force used, according to Lewis.

The clerk one suspect as approximately 6 feet tall and approximately 230 lbs. She said this male grabbed various electronics that were in boxes near the north side of the store. She said the male’s red sweater had white writing on it, but was not sure what it said, according to Lewis.

The clerk described another suspect as a black male wearing a blue beanie, and a dark-colored shirt who walked in and stole the electronics that were on the south part of the middle counter in the store. She said that she could not remember the description of the third male besides him being a black male adult. She said that all together the men grabbed what they could grab, including ripping various phones and tablets off of safety displays and ran out of the store in less than 30 seconds.

The case remains open and has been forwarded to the police department’s investigations team for review and follow-up, Lewis said. Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact the police at (805) 237-6464.
