Tourism and tech fuel Paso Robles turnaround

The Pacific Coast Business Times is reporting good news for the Paso Robles economy.
In an editorial Oct. 19, the editors detail how Paso Robles has “attracted a growing number of technology and manufacturing companies that often pick the city as a base because that’s where the executives want to settle down and enjoy the wine-country way of life.”
The city’s ability to maintain it’s AA credit rating, rebounding tourism, and new major facilities being built for Applied Technologies Associates and Silicon Specialities are big reasons for a positive outlook, the editorial says.
The popular wine scene, business-friendly city hall, an expected surge in hiring, were also cited.
