car crash

–On Wednesday at approximately 7:40 a.m., California Highway Patrol units were dispatched to a call of a non-injury traffic collision that had occurred at the intersection of Centre and 3rd Streets, in the unincorporated city of Shandon.

The collision occurred when Shandon resident Francisco Campos, driving a 2003 Ford Ranger, attempted to make a U-turn in the intersection. At some point while completing his U-turn, the front of the Ford struck the right side of a 2007 Lincoln MKZ, being driven by Shandon resident Adilene Torres. Torres was traveling in a westerly direction through the intersection at the time of the collision.

Drugs or alcohol are not considered to be a factor in this collision. The collision is currently under investigation by the Templeton CHP Office.
