Two teens arrested for drugs and stolen property
On Friday at about 1 p.m., Paso Robles Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team Detectives served a narcotics related search warrant in the 700 block of Spring St. During the service of the warrant, a laptop computer was located that was identified as stolen property from a recent residential burglary that had occurred three days prior.
A stolen credit card was also located, whose owner had reported the credit card had been taken during a recent vehicle burglary. Also located during the search was indicia of narcotic sales and drug paraphernalia. The following suspect was subsequently arrested and transported to San Luis Obispo County Jail:
• Brandon Michael Loewen (DOB 08-22-1995) of Paso Robles – Possession of stolen property, a felony, sales of narcotics, a felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
Detectives also located evidence on Loewen that implicated a male juvenile’s involvement in possessing the stolen laptop. That juvenile was contacted in the 1100 block of Creston Rd and questioned about his involvement. The juvenile was later taken into custody for possession of stolen property, a felony. During the booking process, the juvenile was also found to have 1 gram of heroin concealed in his clothing, also a felony. The juvenile, whose name was not disclosed due to his age, was later transported to the San Luis Obispo County Juvenile Services Center.
