Vina Robles Amphitheatre hires new promoter

New promoter aims to increase the quantity and quality of live entertainment

Vina Robles AmpphitheaterNederlander Concerts’ CEO, Alex Hodges, announced today a new partnership with Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles as the exclusive booking agent, producer and promoter for the annual summer concert series.

This multi-year agreement aims to increase the quantity and quality of live entertainment during the concert season from Apr. 1 to Nov. 30 at the amphitheater. Opening in 2013, the amphitheater is a 3,300 capacity venue that hosted more than 32,000 fans during its inaugural season, making it one of the largest outdoor venues for arts and entertainment in San Luis Obispo County.

“Vina Robles Amphitheatre is a first class venue that complements our roster of award-winning small to mid-sized venues throughout California,” said Hodges. “The venue is sustainable at 3,300 seats and allows for repeat business with artists looking to play a venue of this size. It’s great for tour routing and a beautiful venue in an underserved market.”

“We look forward to working with Nederlander Concerts and know they will provide the attention and focus that this beautiful amphitheater deserves,” said Tim Reed, general manager of the amphitheater. “Their expertise in mid-sized venues up and down the coast is unparalleled and we think this partnership will be mutually beneficial.”

Last season the venue hosted a variety of world-renowned artists including Bonnie Raitt, Darius Rucker, Peter Frampton / BB King, Yes, Lyle Lovett, Michael Franti + Spearhead, The Doobie Brothers, George Lopez and John Fogerty, among others.
