Viognier Does Not Rhyme with Wagner

Viognier. It rhymes with May. You’ll wanna drink it all damn day.

Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance announced May is the month to celebrate Viognier. It’s as part of the alliance’s 2013 Varietal of the Month series. Each month the alliance is offering fun and educational varietal features.

“We kick off April with the Paso Wine Man video Around the World Right at Home,” the alliance says

“Paso Robles Wine Country is excited to continue the 2013 Varietal of the Month series with a new month of fun and educational varietal features, showcasing Viognier!,” the alliance says. “We kick off May with the Paso Wine Man video Viognier Does Not Rhyme with Wagner.”

Monthly varietals will be explored each week through Paso Wine Man Videos, Grower Blogs, Winemaker Interviews, and Recipes from local restaurants. Learn about the unique characteristics that go into making your favorite bottle of Paso Robles wine, and explore wines that may be a bit unfamiliar through the 2013 Varietal of the Month series
