The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance announced this week that Amy Coletta has joined the organization as business development and membership director, a new position that will focus on member and sponsor recruitment and retention for the member-based organization. In coordination with the rest of the Alliance team, Coletta will reinforce the organization’s mission: to promote and preserve the Paso Robles AVA to meet the diverse needs of its members.

“We’re proud to welcome Amy to the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance team,” said Jennifer Porter, Executive Director of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance. “With the addition of Amy to the Alliance, we are poised to strengthen our member relations and secure new partnerships in the future.”

This new role leads all aspects of member and sponsor relations, including the annual membership drive and membership events, meetings, education seminars as well as encourages participation in Alliance programs from existing members. Coletta will also actively solicit sponsors of the organization including suppliers and manufacturers which are supported by members of the Alliance. An important aspect to her role will be the recruitment of participants and sponsors for the annual Paso Robles Wine Festival which just celebrated its 32nd year as one of the most high profile events in San Luis Obispo County.

Amy has over 10 years of sales and marketing experience. After she graduated from UC Berkeley, she began her sales career with Thomas Publishing where she created marketing plans and sold print advertising to industrial businesses throughout Orange County. Later, with Comcast Cable, she sold air time to companies in the Inland Empire. She and her family moved to the Central Coast over seven years ago when she was hired as an Advertising Account Executive by The Tribune in San Luis Obispo.
