3-year-old taken to hospital for nearly drowning at Ravine
On Sunday at 4:06 p.m., Paso Robles Fire Department firefighters and paramedics responded to a report of a near drowning at the Ravine Water Park located at 2301 Airport Road, Paso Robles, the fire department reports.
On arrival at scene paramedics found a 3-year-old boy in mild distress, crying in his mother’s arms after what was described by lifeguards as a near drowning event, according to the report. Paramedics transported the patient to Twin Cities Hospital for further evaluation in the emergency department. No further details are available.
In a separate incident on Saturday at about 4:30 p.m., firefighters responded to the Ravine to aid a 2-year-old who slipped, fell, and hit its head on a water slide, the fire department reports.
