86-percent chance of rain on Friday
Weather Underground is reporting an 86-percent chance of rain in Paso Robles on Friday. Rain may begin in the early morning hours and is expected to be strongest around noon and through the afternoon. About a half-inch of rainfall is expected from the storm.
Total rainfall for the season in Paso Robles is already over 21 inches. That’s much higher than the city’s average of 14 inches. If the city receives another quarter-inch of rain before July, the 2016-17 rainfall season will be the heaviest since 1997-98.
This season’s rainfall has already filled Lake Nacimiento to 88-percent full this week. Lake San Antonio, which was completely dry last summer, is now 54-percent full.
