Abandoned panga boat found Wednesday on coastline

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies discovered an abandoned panga boat on Wednesday at about 2:50 a.m. at San Simeon State Beach. No narcotics were discovered in the boat, deputies report. No one is in custody. The boat is estimated to be 30-35 feet long with three outboard motors. The boat has been towed from the scene. The Sheriff’s Office will take possession of the boat. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
