Bearcats lose to Arroyo Grande Eagles, 21-20 


–Friday night, the Paso Robles Bearcats lost to the Arroyo Grande Eagles, 21-20, at War Memorial Stadium. The game was the first conference game for both teams. The Eagles improve to 5-3 for the season. The Bearcats fall to 2-5.

Paso Robles travels next Friday to Santa Maria to play St. Joseph. They finish out the regular season at War Memorial Stadium against Righetti and Atascadero.

The Atascadero Greyhounds lost to San Luis Obispo 28-20. The Tigers scored the only touchdown of the first quarter and led most the game. The Greyhounds pulled within 8 in the fourth quarter.

The Greyhounds fall to 2-5 for the season, 0-1 in conference. San Luis improves to 6-1. The Tigers only loss was against Templeton. The Greyhounds host Pioneer Valley next Friday, then travel to Nipomo and Paso Robles.

The Templeton Eagles beat Santa Maria 53-10 at Volunteer Stadium. Quarterback Tyler Kaschevsky thrilled the packed Homecoming crowd with a 65-yard touchdown run and a 35-yard touchdown pass to Marino D’Alfonso. The other scoring was spread among Joshua Berna, Michael Avery and Cody Blankenship.

The Eagles improve to 6-1 for the season. They travel next Friday to Morro Bay, then complete the regular season with home games against Mission Prep and Nipomo.
