Women’s Volleyball

Last Thursday in women’s Volleyball the Bearcats fell to SLO in a hard-fought Mountain League battle. In a best of 5 series, the Bearcats won the first 2 sets before SLO turned things around to win the 3rd sets. In the 4th the Bearcats struggled to make routine plays which was very uncharacteristic, and it was hard to bounce back from. After winning the 4th set the SLO Tigers were able to carry that momentum into the 5th set, leading to a Tigers victory. Although it was a heartbreaking loss the Bearcats look to bounce back against Arroyo Grande this Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 5:30 p.m., in Gil Asa gym. If the Bearcats are able to knock of the 1st place Eagles it will put them in a three-way tie for first place with AG and SLO.
