BeeWench Farm CSA shares now available

Local farm offers fresh produce delivery

SHANDON — BeeWench Farm announced they have CSA farm shares are available. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture; a subscription based food delivery service.

“We’re really excited to offer fresh vegetables, meat and eggs to local residents,” said Sarah Jean, owner at BeeWench Farm.

Members sign-up for a share prior to the start of the season and each week, during the 10-week harvest period, members receive a share of the produce harvested at the farm. BeeWench Farm offers three seasons per year; spring, summer and fall. Members may sign up for one or all of the seasons.

The farm also raises pastured chicken and free-range eggs. Customers can add a whole chickens or a dozen eggs to their weekly delivery.

Founded in 2009, BeeWench Farm offers local foodies naturally raised vegetables, eggs, meat and milk in a CSA subscription and at local markets. All of the farm’s fare is grown without pesticides, herbicides or other chemical additives. More information about the farm can be found at their website or by emailing
