Biologist Patrick Mock joins local environmental consulting firm

Althouse and Meade, Inc., a biological consulting firm based in Paso Robles, recently announced the addition of Patrick Mock, Ph.D. to the organization as principal biologist.

Mock, a UCLA grad, has extensive national and international experience in the assessment of impacts on biological resources, especially in relation to wetland ecosystems, coastal sage scrub, and endangered species, according to a press release from Althouse and Meade. Mock has produced environmental impact assessments of various development projects throughout western United States and the Pacific Rim in conformance with the National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Water Act, and Endangered Species Act. His specific area of expertise is in the ecology, management, and monitoring of vertebrate populations.

“Working closely with the well trained and dedicated staff at Althouse and Meade, Dr. Mock will enhance our ability to provide the best scientifically based solutions for the problems inherent in the interface between human activity and environmental resources to our private and public customers throughout California and the western United States,” the press release says.

The search was done by Management Recruiters of Templeton, Wayne Caruthers CSM. They provide recruiting for consulting engineering firms throughout the country.

Althouse and Meade, Inc., is located at 1602 Spring St, Paso Robles, CA.
