Evenson’ passion and advocacy for the Boys & Girls Club came from his participation in the organization as a kid. He was elected to the board of directors of the Boys & Girls Club in North SLO County in December of 2011. “I am honored to be appointed the new board Chairman,” Evenson says, “I look forward to continuing the development and leadership of this organization, paved by Jeb Brown.”

Evenson also was a former president of a chapter of BNI, Business Network International and is on the board of directors of WaterRun, an organization that provides funding for wells in Ethiopia. He enjoys being involved in the community and living here on the Central Coast for 13 years with his wife and three daughters.

The Boys & Girls Club board expresses their gratitude to Jeb Brown who has served on the board since December 2007. Brown has assisted in the tremendous expansion and improvement of the Boys & Girls Club programs and services. He will continue to serve on the board and continue pursuing his mission to insure youth in our community always have access to a safe and positive place to be a kid.
