What is search engine optimization? “It’s an internet marketing strategy that helps websites and business listings rank higher in search engine results like Google,” says Scott Brennan, CEO of Access Publishing. “If you’ve ever wondered ‘how do I get my business found on Google?’ or ‘How can I rank higher on Google?’ this educational seminar will be an eye-opener,” he says.

“Essentially, SEO is about writing great content that communicates important information about your business and then publishing it on your website and accross the Internet,” he says. “You need to tell Google who you are, what you do, and where you are located; and you need to do it effectively and repeatedly. We will show you how.”

Brennan and his team at Access Publishing have given dozens of educational seminars to hundreds of local business leaders at engagements from Rotary Clubs to chambers of commerce. His company provides web design and local SEO services to over 100 businesses in San Luis County.

The business seminar is Friday, May 30 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Templeton Community Center, 601 S. Main St., Templeton. It is free for chamber members and $10 for non-members. Reservations are required and seating is limited. To reserve a spot, call (805) 434-1789 or email info@templetonchamber.com. Attendees are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch or order from a provided menu and the chamber will provide cold drinks. If you can’t make the presentation, call for a free consultation at (805) 226-9890.
