The Central Coast 12U Crushers has been selected to play in the Cooperstown Dreams Park and American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame Invitational Tournament during the week of August 16.

The Central Coast Crushers is a travel club baseball team of twelve-year olds: Ethan Breese, Dylan Castellanos, Lucas Climer, Nick Mecham, and Cameron Kearns from Paso Robles; Eli Bullard and Dylan Ice from Templeton; Coleby Stokes from Atascadero; Scott Andree and Bryon Victor from San Luis Obispo; and Ian MacDonald from Cayucos. The team is coached by Jason Breese, Michael Sanchez, and John Andree.

For over 25 years, Cooperstown Dreams Park in New York has invited baseball teams of 12-year-old and under players to live and play competitive baseball for one week during the thirteen week summer season. For each of these weeks, over 100 teams, and their coaches, from
around the nation stay at the Dreams Park in clubhouses, trade pins, and compete in at least seven games, as well as skills competitions, on the Dream Park’s 22 fields.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the Central Coast 12U Crushers and their families. Between games, teams and family members will visit historic Cooperstown and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, as well as Doubleday Stadium. The Crushers 12U boys have participated in a spaghetti feed, carwash, and BBQ fundraisers to help their parents with costs. But they are still seeking donations and sponsors to help offset the expenses of this adventure – for example the oversize luggage costs of their large and heavy gear bags.

Anyone who would like to help these outstanding players with their Cooperstown costs, may contact Coach Jason Breese at (805) 207-5685 or Team Parent, Connie Stokes at (805) 610-4494.
