Cold snap hits Paso in wake of heat wave

Record low temperatures hit Paso Robles over the weekend, just as the town came out of a November heat wave.

Residents woke up to a brisk 26 degrees on Sunday morning. That set a record low for Nov. 11. Last Monday, the high in Paso Robles hit 90 degrees. That beat a 1949 record of 89 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Today’s forecast: Subfreezing temperatures and areas of frost before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 73. East wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
