Community-wide worship service for 125th anniversary 

City’s 125th anniversary includes service by Paso Robles Ministerial Association

125 anniversary paso roblesIn connection with the 125th anniversary of the City of Paso Robles, the Paso Robles Ministerial Association will be hosting a community wide worship service at the downtown City Park on Sunday, June 8 at 10:30 a.m. A large number of local churches will be participating and at least 2,000 people are expected to be in attendance.

The event is open to the public and people from all faith backgrounds are invited to attend. The public is encouraged to arrive early and to bring their own chairs as the 1,500 chairs set up for the event are expected to fill early. Paso Robles Mayor Duane Picanco and city council members have been invited to attend. The event has been funded completely by private donations of the PRMA member churches.

A large multi-church choir and praise band will be led by Shelanie Voorheis of First Baptist Church. Pastor Don Smith from the Christian Life Center will be delivering the message. Ministers from 15 different churches will be participating in leading in prayer, scripture reading and other parts of the service.

Churches and ministries that will be participating include (but are not limited to) Covenant Presbyterian Church, Christian Life Center, Donn Ragle Ministries, Family Worship Center, First Baptist Church, Heritage Village Church, Highlands Church, Live Oak Church, New Day Church, North County Christian Fellowship, Niblick Road Baptist Church, Paso Robles Bible Church, Paso Robles Community Church, Second Baptist Church, St. James Episcopal Church and The Bridge Christian Church. This event has been being planned for more than a year and say it will be a great blessing to the entire community.
