In connection with the 125th anniversary of the City of Paso Robles, the Paso Robles Ministerial Association will be hosting a community wide worship service at the downtown City Park on Sunday, June 8 at 10:30 a.m. A large number of local churches will be participating and at least 2,000 people are expected to be in attendance.
The event is open to the public and people from all faith backgrounds are invited to attend. The public is encouraged to arrive early and to bring their own chairs as the 1,500 chairs set up for the event are expected to fill early. A large multi-church choir and praise band will be led by Shelanie Voorheis of First Baptist Church. Pastor Don Smith from the Christian Life Center will be delivering the message. Ministers from 15 different churches will be participating in leading in prayer, scripture reading and other parts of the service.
