Cuesta’s LVN and paramedic programs accepting applications 

LVN application workshops

Cuesta College’s Nursing Department is holding multiple workshops to help students interested in becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) fill out and complete their 2014 applications. Cuesta’s LVN program prepares students for entry-level vocational nursing positions in a variety of healthcare settings. The program, offered on the North County Campus in Paso Robles, is full-time and requires a commitment of one year. The LVN program begins August 2014 and applications will be accepted January 1 – January 30, 2014.

The workshops will be held on the following dates:

North County Campus (2800 Buena Vista Drive, Paso Robles, 93446):
Jan. 23rd 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Room N2407

San Luis Obispo Campus (Highway 1, San Luis Obispo, 93403):
Jan. 15th 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Room 2501
Jan. 27th 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Room 2503

Paramedic Program applications being accepted

The Cuesta College Central Coast Paramedic Program is now accepting applications for fall 2014 entry. The program is three semesters in length and is held on the San Luis Obispo Campus. The Paramedic Program prepares graduates to take the Paramedic National Registry licensure examination (NREMT-P) leading to licensure as a California Paramedic. The program begins August 18, 2014, and applications will be accepted through July 31, 2014. All applications are evaluated for admission in the order they are received, with admission granted on a space available basis.
